This pattern was pretty easy to follow and true to size! Turned out so cute

Very good and detailed pattern! I made my yardage from fabric scraps and just followed the pattern pieces as is. I decided to take in the hip because I didn’t want it to stick out so much, but it was a simple adjustment on my end. Since I chose larger buttons I think I could’ve got away with only 4.

I made the fully lined button version with linen main fabric and coton lining. Fit was perfect on first attempt. The written instructions were amazing, theres also a video with in depth explanations that are very clear. I highly recommend purchasing from this seller.

I have been following her Youtube Channel for a long time but this is the first pattern I actually made from her. The pattern and the instructions are great and very clear. Also the alterations are very well elaborated. I can't wait to make more of her patterns <3

I am a beginner who likes to push the boundaries of my competence. I saw this pattern and thought it would be my next challenge. I made the lined version B. Initially, I was surprised by the number of pattern pieces. This proved to be just what this design needed. The instructions are literate, complete, no dodgy descriptions, and the pictures give that extra level of clarity. Honestly, they were perfect. The waistcoat came together logically and so easily. I'll admit, my sewing and cutting skills need development but my lack of skills didn't impact the outcome of the garment. Already making another one. Fabulous!

Great pattern! I made the button front & fully lined option. Hardest parts are the curved edges around the arm and neck. My lining ended up a bit baggy so I top stitched to tuck it away. Sizing was pretty spot on & the pattern is fully adaptable

Loved this pattern, the instructions, and video! I really appreciate the variations for bust side and long torsos, so I was able to alter the pattern to fit me like a glove. I'm excited to try more patterns - thank you for making it inclusive to a wider range of body types!

The pattern is beautiful and of good quality. I am a confident beginner, and I am almost finished with it. The instructions, however, are not very clear; using lining that is the exact same color as the shell is not helpful.

Sadly after i finished i learned that it just is not my style of clothing. This is no fault of the author of this pattern. It looks great on her and the other people who made the vest, that's why i purchased and did as well, but i do not like the finished garment on my body. NOT because the fit was wrong or anything is incorrect in the pattern. I may revisit it later in life, but for now - not for me.

Easy to follow instructions. I sized down one and made this with a stretch knit and the outcome was exactly as i had hoped.

Beautiful pattern and finished product! Sewing instructions are easy to follow and includes pictures of the process. The instructional video was also very helpful. Perfect for when you're moving into the more intermediate level of sewing :)

Great instructions, great opportunity to learn new techniques. Also, all of the notches matched which made assembly a breeze. Overall a pleasurable pattern to follow with a great end result. The only change I made was to leave a part of a side seam of the lining open so that I could finish the bottom edge then turn it right sides out and close the opening with a ladder stich for a clean finish.

I made a lined version of this vest and it came out beautifully!!! I love it so much. The princess seam is gorgeous and the vest fits me perfectly. I love how the instructions includes how to customize the fit before you even start sewing. This was my first time sewing buttons! Next time I won’t put the buttonholes so close to the vesting opening (this was my mistake), but otherwise there’s nothing I would do differently the next time I make this. 12/10 highly recommend, receive so many compliments when I wear it to work :)

A truly great pattern :) I had a question and the seller was very helpful. I made an Aragorn vest by cutting the pieces from a thrifted leather jacket and Frankensteining it together. I went with the recommended size, added an inch to the waist and about 10 inches to the length, and it fit like a glove.
