The person behind it
My name is Caroline, and I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Sewing has been my biggest passion for almost a decade, following my grandmother's footsteps. With the aid of her old sewing machine I started my journey, 7 years ago.
Before enrolling in patternmaking and sewing classes, the Internet was my teacher. So many amazing creators have helped me develop myself! With their guidance I figured out my passion and started creating my handmade wardrobe. And up until this day I still think about all of them with a warm heart.
The beginning
Coraline Street was born from the desire of, hopefully, becoming that guide to somebody else. To create a community of like-minded people, and to help others across the world unleash their imagination and create clothes they take pride in.
It's been a few months of a lot of hard work, but every time I read a comment or see a photo of a project I took part in, my heart blooms.
