I was glad for a good strong sewing machine to finish up the bag! It turned out beautiful. I used thicker fabric and it holds its shape well, but next time I will use quilting fabric.

Made this pouch with my 12 year old granddaughter.The instructions were clear and well set out.

Love this pattern it’s very easy to print, put together and sew. Definitely make your bias tape wider than recommended as that is the most difficult part of this project. Otherwise I love it how my bag turned out!

I absolutely love the design of this makeup bag! It is unique to those I've seen in stores and has the perfect pockets to fit my products. the pattern doesn't require too many materials, and as a confident beginner, I found it very doable. I would say the only part that I struggled with (and doesn't look as nice as I wished it would) is the final step of bias tape. I already struggled with bias tape on previous projects, so this is not a knock on the quality of the pattern and instructions. The instructions include step by step images and I watched the YouTube video all the way through before beginning, so I would feel familiar with each step. I made the medium bag this time, but I look forward to making the other two sizes! Great value and thoughtfully prepared materials.

Beautiful pattern, good instruction on the you tube video which was great to be abe to see the construction.

The bag is so well constructed and fits all my sewing supplies. I made the large size to use for my sewing supplies for Fashion school. The pouches fits all my small things and my spools of thread.
Will definitely be making more for friends and family.
The written instructions were good and easy to follow.
Note: English is not my first language and I had no problems reading the instructions.

I've made two already! The youtube tutorial is great and easy to follow. My only qualm is that there is one detail on the completed bags that is no where in the pattern or tutorial, but it was very simple to add myself.

The explain are crystal clear, everything is well explained and my bag is really cute

First things first: the finished product is SOOO cute I’m obsessed and way better than other makeup bags I’ve seen, love that it fully opens and has multiple pockets. Feels sturdy and took me about 2 days to make incl. all the cutting, pressing, figuring out instructions, & sewing, & I would classify myself as “confident beginner”. Now, I will say that there were a few typos/errors in the pattern and sometimes it felt like small steps were being “assumed” (eg it says to cut two lines on the pattern but you actually cut four; I think there’s an error in the size chart; she doesn’t tell you how you’re supposed to do the notches ie cut or mark with chalk…it’s both) and I just bought my own bias tape to avoid sizing issues. Overall though, great for an indie pattern maker and love the end result!!! Only up from here :) !!

I made up the small & medium sized pouches. It was quite a lot of work but I throughly enjoyed making them and the tutorial on YouTube was really helpful. I am thrilled with the end result and I'm actively using them while on holiday. Would definitely make for friends & family. Love the Pattern. Thank you for creating Caroline.

Great instructions, a good pattern makes all the difference. I felt confident starting my first full blown project thanks to the thorough directions, videos and exact measurements and instructions.

Mooi verzorgd naaipatroon voor een hele leuke toilettas. In de handleiding zitten volgens mij een paar kleine foutjes of zouden dingen duidelijker kunnen worden uitgelegd maar de video maakt dat allemaal goed. Ik ben tevreden met het resultaat!

The pattern worked great and the instructions were really detailed! I honestly think a patient beginner could handle this pattern!

I loved it very much! As an intermediate beginner it was fun to make, a fun challenges that was not very hard in the end. The instruction video is very clear although it is a bit speady, so make sure to pause every time!
I also added some handles myself which weren’t in the instructions, but thought it would be handy. I made the largest version

This is the best make up bag ever! I love all the pockets it has. I even added a couple extra I thought would be nice to have. The pattern was time consuming but very easy to follow and so worth it. I also loved being able to follow the YouTube video. I’m a beginner sewist and while this was one of the harder things I’ve made I think anyone could make this if they just go slowly. The bag probably took me about 4 hours to make and it’s the medium size.
