Easy to make
I adore these shorts. I made my first pair out of some shirting fabric and the next out of some thinner flannel. I wear both very frequently. These are a quick, easy project and are simple to adjust. I made one with larger elastic and one thinner and shortened both of them. Each pair took me about 3 hours to make while I was also chatting with friends and easily distracted. These are a great beginner project.
Really nice pattern . Great instructions . At first I wasn’t sure I was going to do the pockets , but do the pockets ! Super cute .
I have bought different patterns and I have never liked them, however this one exceeded my expectations, I modified the waist part to put a 5 cm elastic, and it fit Perfect, obviously I had to add the centimeters of elastic plus the centimeters of sewing in the pockets, in love with this pattern and the result.
Written instructions really clear, video a little hard to follow as fabric was black which offered no contrast to right side vs back of shorts. Overall, nice introduction to pants/shorts

i used knit material and sized up to make some super-loose lounging shorts and they’re perfect!! i went without pockets so it probably took me no more than an hour and a half
Super quick sew. I did a mockup using old sheets since I was in between sizes. Decided I am going to size up to a M for a bit more width in the legs. Excited to make in my real fabric.
